On this edition of 30 on 3D, we filmed a case study starring Eric Alexander, Application Engineer at Purple, and special guest Wilma Matilda, Head of Product Design, at Spellbound. They explained the process of creating Spellbound’s new packaging prototype for the company’s newest product release.
Wilma wanted to be able to see the potion inside of the packaging so Eric used GrabCAD Print Pro’s Smart Insert feature to stop the print and insert in the elixir. He was then able to resume the print so that the liquid was completely sealed inside of the bottle.
The combination of the Stratasys J850 PolyJet printer and GrabCAD Print Pro software ensures a seamless process and a high-quality prototype for our customer Wilma Matilda.
