DyeMansion, the world’s leading provider of post-processing solutions for 3D printed polymer parts, announces the development of a new compact, industrial-grade Powershot system. Targeting a launch at Formnext 2026, the new system will bring DyeMansion’s proven PolyShot Cleaning & Surfacing technology to a broader range of users looking to implement industrial-quality cleaning and surfacing in their production environments.
The new compact Powershot system for cleaning & surfacing targets a wide range of users.
The announcement marks a significant step in DyeMansion’s goal to make professional post-processing accessible at every level of production. The new Powershot will sit alongside the DyeMansion VX1 vapor smoothing system and complement small-format powder bed printers, as well as facilities that have industrial-scale printers, but do not yet have the need for large-scale or highly automated cleaning and surfacing that the existing DyeMansion Powershot X or Powershot DUAL Performance offer.
“Industrial-grade post-processing is no longer reserved for large-format, high-volume operations,” said Felix Ewald, CEO & Co-Founder of DyeMansion. “With this new Powershot, we are making DyeMansion Print-to-Product workflow available to a whole new segment of the market — without compromising on the quality and reliability our customers have come to expect.”
Expanding the Powershot Family
Production environments vary widely in scale and automation requirements. Facilities may operate fewer large-format printers running at high capacity, or an entire fleet of smaller machines producing parts in parallel. The new compact Powershot brings DyeMansion’s proven PolyShot Cleaning & Surfacing technology to the full range of production environments — no longer limiting industrial-grade cleaning & surfacing to large-scale environments alone, and opening up DyeMansion technology to service bureaus, corporate innovation teams, and OEMs operating at smaller volumes. The system is being developed in close alignment with the needs of this market segment, integrating seamlessly with the VX1 and compatible small-format printers as part of the broader DyeMansion Print-to-Product workflow.
