December’s Part of the Month features the gingerbread women from Purple’s holiday card, designed and printed in-house on the Stratasys J55 Prime. The prints came out vibrant, detailed, and smooth in under 51 minutes, bringing some festive energy to the office. It’s a simple project that shows how small, creative ideas can still highlight the capabilities of PolyJet technology.
For December’s Part of the Month, Marketing Manager, Talena Weingartner, had no choice but to lean into the holiday spirit and select the gingerbread women from this year’s Purple holiday card. She also designed the card, so making it our Part of the Month felt like a natural next step. And who’s to blame her? The pieces are festive, colorful, and our annual holiday card is a highlight of the year.
Why Talena Chose This Part
It was a no-brainer: We printed these gingerbread women specifically for our holiday card. The parts do a good job of showing what the J55 Prime can produce in terms of color and intricate details. Along with the “HolyJet Cheer” pun, they bring some additional fun to the holiday season.
A Sweet Finish to The Year
This month’s part was a simple project, but it brought some holiday energy into the office and let the team experiment with something fun. As we head into a new year of parts and projects, it is a nice reminder that even small prints can spark creativity and show what the equipment can do. The gingerbread women show what the J55 Prime can create, which made them a fun subject to work with and a nice way to wrap up the year.
