This month’s Part of the Month was chosen by Production Supervisor, Mike Stone. Mike chose a quick snap buckle, made on one of our Stratasys H350 printers, for its low cost-per-part and functionality.
He says he chose this part “not so much for what it is, but what it represents.” This means that with SAF any company of any size can “essentially go straight to market on demand, without making a huge investment.” He likes that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get your product to market using the H350. It has the perfect mix of adaptability and quick turnaround times, that allows for design changes while also meeting deadlines. The H350 can create fully customizable and accurate parts in large quantities.
Stratasys has a technology for every application. To determine what is right for his product, Mike would “find professionals like Purple Porcupine, and utilize their expertise.”
In the scenario where you need to get parts made, he says, “you’d spend less money [outsourcing SAF with Purple Porcupine] than you would if you used other methods to get hundreds of these parts. There’s virtually no labor cost on your end, and all you’d have to do is repackage it.”
Our team has been consistently impressed with the production capabilities of the H350. We’re excited to continue to help customers bring their products to market. To learn more about your printer and part options, or their applications, stop by our office or give us a call at 949.474.9222.
