IRVINE, California (July 8, 2015)—Purple Platypus, Inc., located at 17332 Von Karman Avenue Suite 100 in Irvine, will officially debut the newest 3D printer additions to their redesigned showroom and celebrate its grand reopening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 23 from 3:30 PM until 6:30 PM.
To kick off the celebration, customers are invited to “come cool down” at the Purple Platypus Summer Splash. The festivity will include live music, appetizers, beverages and hourly 3D printed giveaways as well as $1,500 of Purple Porcupine, the sister company to Purple Platypus, credits to use towards 3D printing services.
Guests will be escorted around the redesigned showroom now features three new Stratasys machines: the Fortus 450mc which has the ability to work with 9 standard, engineering and high-performance thermoplastics, the Connex3 featuring multi-material, multi-color 3D printing capabilities, and the Eden 260VS featuring soluble solution removal for exceptional details on complex geometries. The new, redesigned facility features contemporary décor with natural wood finishing highlighting and giving contrast to Purple Platypus’ various advanced prototyping technologies and 3D parts.
