This material was selected due to its impact resistance and the outstanding sidewall quality resulting in no or minimal finishing.
Golf Tees
Material: Somos EvoLVe 128
The golf tees highlight detail that can be achieved when printing small parts on the Neo. The mechanical properties of the material perfectly lends itself to short-run functional testing.
Rangefinder
Material: Somos Taurus (body), Somos WaterShed Black (threaded cover, lower lens, dial assembly), Somos 9120 (front cover and plug), Somos WaterShed XC (lenses)
Covered in textures and fine details, it demonstrates the excellent sidewall quality of parts produced on the Neo. Somos Taurus is known for its part strength and durability, with a thermoplastic-like performance, look and feel.
Rangefinder Grip
Material: Somos WaterShed Black
This part exhibits a near injection molded appearance that is rigid and tough. The true black color of resin means no need for painting which saves time and costs.
Pitch Repair Tool
Material: Somos PerFORM, Nickel Plated
This part was printed and then plated to highlight the different functionality that can be offered with SLA technology. The stiffness and weight of the printed part in Somos PerFORM combined with the plating offer a stronger part that can be used across many applications.
Ball Marker
Material: Somos WaterShed Black
Chosen for its UV and moisture resistance and its smooth surface finish, Somos WaterShed Black is a versatile choice that can be used from prototyping all the way to end use parts. Printed on the Neo450, the part has sections of writing to highlight detail the system can print in HD build mode, printed at 0.1 mm layer height.
Belt Bracket
Material: Somos 9120
This material produces semi-flexible parts with great memory retention. This facilitates the snap-fit connection between the balls and the bracket.
