As we wrap up 2022, we wanted to take one last glance at all of the amazing things that occurred throughout the year. From new 3D printers and materials to hosting fun and informative events, I would say this year was a success!
January
Starting the year off strong, we were awarded status as a Diamond-level Stratasys reseller for providing world-class solutions and excelling in customer relations.
March
We hosted our first open house event of the year: NSYNC with Medical 3D Printing – “Buy Buy Buy.” Yes, we are done with the boy band titled open houses… for now. We had Stratasys experts presenting on medical and dental 3D printing applications and realistic medical models for customers to see.
April
It was a busy month of events! First, we exhibited at D&M West in Anaheim, where we showed WRAP technology and the latest from Stratasys. Then the Experience Stratasys Tour truck made a pit stop at our Irvine HQ, as well as in San Diego and Los Angeles, where guests were able to see Stratasys’ newest launches – including a creepily realistic, flexible banana made from Agilus CMY.
May
Stratasys announced not one, but three new printers! First, the J850 TechStyle 3D printer that allows users to 3D print directly onto fabric. This is an absolute game changer for businesses within the fashion and automotive industries. Then they released the F123 Composite Ready printers, the F190CR and the F370CR. These 3D printers can print high-strength carbon fiber (Nylon CF10) which can be a replacement for metal components.
June
We wrote our very first Part of the Month blog post! Each month we have an employee pick one of their favorite parts in the showroom and explain why they like it. These have become a hit! Click a photo to learn more about the part.
July
Materialise Magics came out with an updated version of their software, Magics 26. Users are now able to use a new function called BREP (Boundary Representation) to represent 3D files in CAD by using faces instead of triangles.
August
The Marketing Team (and Puddles) took a trip to Minnesota for the Stratasys Marketing Summit. It was great to connect with Stratasys and their Partner Marketing Teams and brainstorm some new strategies and solutions.
Our showroom also received a new Neo450s! Watch the unwrapping video.
October
Stratasys released two new materials for the Origin One: Deflect 120 and Stretch IND475. Deflect 120 is a high-strength photopolymer that is heat-resistant and easy to process. Stretch IND475 is a resilient elastomer with low shore hardness.
We had the privilege of being featured in a case study video with Onulis and Stratasys! The video shows how we were able to print 46 production parts for each Onulis WRAP machine using our H350 3D printer.
November
We exhibited at the Anaheim Electronics & Manufacturing Show for the first time where we got to teach people how additive manufacturing can be successfully utilized in the electronics industry.
Another announcement from Stratasys! They welcomed new Validated materials for FDM and P3 printers, such as Addigy PA6/66, Victrex AM200, Kimya PC-FR, FDM HIPS, and new ULTEM 9085 colors.
December
Our last Open House of the year was based around the newly released Validated Materials and the Open Material License from Stratasys for FDM and P3 technologies. Our customers were some of the first people to see these parts in person and got to learn about them through Stratasys’ Application Engineers.
This year was full of adventures and new innovations. We want to thank all of you who were a part of this amazing year and wish you Happy Holidays.
